Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a diesel mechanic to perform inspections, diagnose issues, and repair refuse trucks to ensure safe, reliable daily operation. The role requires expertise in hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension, with a focus on preventative maintenance.

Starting pay is $30–$40 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours and pay increases based on experience and certifications. Benefits include PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, and health coverage after 60

Qualifications

• Experience repairing diesel refuse trucks.
• Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep refuse trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

We pay for ASE testing! Once you get your certs is .25 bump per T Series ASE.
