Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled diesel truck technician to perform inspections, diagnose issues, and complete repairs on our refuse fleet.

The role operates 2pm-12am, Monday to Friday, with overtime after 40 hours and starting pay of $29 to $36 per hour. Benefits include PTO, tool and boot allowances, health benefits after 60 days, and 401k after 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Starting Pay

$29 to $36 per hour. More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

We pay for ASE testing! Once you get your certs is .25 bump per T Series ASE.

Shift

2pm-12am M-F. Overtime after 40hrs worked.
