Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Kansas City, MO is seeking skilled technicians to maintain and repair diesel refuse trucks. You will perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs to keep fleet vehicles operating safely and reliably.

Starting pay is $29–$35 per hour with increases for ASE certs and experience. The shift is 3pm–11:30pm, Monday to Friday, with benefits after 60 days and opportunities for advancement based on EXP, CERTS and SKILL LEVEL.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining diesel refuse trucks.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
