Job summary
GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a technician to service Diesel Refuse Trucks in Michigan. Starting pay ranges from $28 to $35 per hour, with higher pay possible based on experience, certifications, and skills.
ASE testing raises pay by .25 per T Series ASE certs. Shift is 6am-4pm, with overtime after 40 hours. Benefits begin after 60 days and include PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, 401K after 6 months.
Qualifications
- Experience with diesel refuse trucks preferred.
- ASE certifications can boost pay as indicated in the posting.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
- Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
- Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
