Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is hiring a diesel refuse truck technician in Wisconsin. Starting pay is $26–$33 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours and additional pay based on experience and certifications.

Responsibilities include inspections, diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel refuse trucks. Benefits include PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, and health benefits after 60 days.

• Air Brake and Hydraulic experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
