Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Tallassee, AL is hiring a Diesel Refuse Truck Technician to perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, and complete repairs on diesel refuse trucks.

You will repair hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components, perform preventive maintenance, and keep fleet vehicles ready for daily operation. Starting pay up to $29/hr with OT after 40 hours; shift 10am–8/8:30pm, Monday–Friday. Benefits available.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Starting Pay: up to $29/hr (Will Increase Based on EXP/Qualifications)

Starting Shift: 10am-8/830pm M-F. OT after 40hrs!
