Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Wisconsin is hiring a Diesel Truck Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel refuse trucks.

You will diagnose and fix hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO, and other components, and perform daily inspections to keep fleet vehicles safe and ready for daily operations. Starting pay is $27 to $34 per hour with additional pay based on experience, certifications, and skill level.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on diesel refuse trucks.
• Perform daily inspections and repairs to ensure fleet readiness.
• Repair hydraulic, electrical, brakes, suspension, PTO systems and other components.
• Provide preventative maintenance to keep vehicles safe and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.
