Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Diesel Truck Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel refuse trucks. The role requires diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, and brake systems to keep fleet vehicles safe and reliable.

You will work 3pm-1am with a $2 shift differential, overtime after 40 hours, and opportunities for ASE certification bonuses. Benefits include PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, and 401K after 6 months.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications or willingness to obtain ASE testing
• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel refuse trucks preferred
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, brakes and PTO systems

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation

Starting Pay: $28-$55/hr

More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Overtime after 40hrs worked.

We pay for ASE testing! Once you get your certs is .50 bump per T Series ASE.
