GFL Environmental Inc. in Texas is seeking a heavy-duty diesel technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain company-owned or leased trucks and rolling stock to ensure daily operations.

Starting pay is $29-$35 per hour, with additional pay based on experience, ASE certifications and skill level. The role is a 3pm–11:30pm shift, Monday to Friday, with benefits starting after a waiting period and 401(k) eligibility after six months.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely.

Starting Pay: $29-$35/hrMore pay available based on EXP, CERTS and SKILL LEVEL.

Shift: 3pm-1130pm M-F. (Entry Level Exp Fine)

We pay for ASE testing! Once you get your certs is .25 bump per T Series ASE.
