Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks skilled diesel truck technicians in Belton, SC to safely operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment. Starting pay ranges from $29 to $35 per hour, with higher wages based on experience and ASE certifications.

Shift is 3pm–11:30pm, Monday to Friday. Benefits include PTO, tool and boot reimbursements, overtime after 40 hours, health benefits after 60 days, and a 401K after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose issues and troubleshoot diesel trucks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to keep fleet operational.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Job description

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely.

Starting Pay: $29-$35/hrMore pay available based on EXP, CERTS and SKILL LEVEL.

Shift: 3pm-1130pm M-F. (Entry Level Exp Fine)

We pay for ASE testing! Once you get your certs is .25 bump per T Series ASE.
