Job summary

GFL Industries in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, is seeking a skilled heavy-duty diesel technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on fleet trucks and equipment to ensure safe operation. The role involves daily inspections, diagnostic work and repairs to keep refuse trucks and related hydraulic/electrical systems in top condition.

Starting pay is $29 to $36 per hour, with additional pay based on experience, ASE certifications and skill level.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safelyStarting Pay: $29 to $36 per hour. More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.We pay for ASE testing! Once you get your certs is .25 bump per T Series ASE.Shift: 2 Options1) 5am-3pm M-F. Overtime after 40hrs worked.2) 2pm-1130pm M-F. Overtime after 40hrs worked.
