Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, braking, HVAC, and powertrain systems. You will diagnose multi-system issues, perform on-site road service, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with advanced vehicle technologies.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, ASE certifications are a plus, and a valid driver’s license; CDL is beneficial.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of experience diagnosing multi-system vehicle issues.
• Graduation from an accredited automotive college or technical school within 3 months.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Maintains working knowledge and skill proficiency in vehicle components and systems for preventive and repair maintenance, on-site and on the road.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance.
• Refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems; and air and hydraulic braking systems.
• Light engine repair and maintenance.
• Suspension, drivetrain and steering systems.
• Heating and air conditioning.
• Performs line maintenance welding and fabrication.
• Safely provides road service when necessary to ensure equipment is returned to operation.
• Identifies source of malfunctions using electronic tools.
• Completes company training programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
