Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment. You will handle chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, air brakes, and HVAC components while performing inspections and on-road service as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues with technical expertise.
• 3-5 years of experience in a technician role.
• ASE Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicle components including chassis, refuse bodies, and braking systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and line welding as needed.
• Provide on-road service and diagnose malfunctions with electronic tools.
• Operate safely to return equipment to service efficiently.
