Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical systems, braking, and HVAC components.

Work occurs on-site and on the road as needed, supporting a single fleet with state-of-the-art equipment. You will diagnose multi-system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and complete company training programs.

Competenze

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• 3-5 years of technician experience in gasoline/diesel diagnosis and repair or graduation from automotive college/technical school.

Mansioni

• Maintain and repair vehicle components and systems on-site and on the road.
• Chassis component repair and maintenance.
• Refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic and electrical systems; and air and hydraulic braking systems.
• Light engine repair and maintenance.
• Suspension, drivetrain and steering systems.
• Heating and air conditioning.
• Perform line maintenance welding and fabrication.
• Safely provide road service to return equipment to operation.

Formazione

Automotive college or technical school (within 3 months)

Strumenti

ASE Certifications (T1-T8)

Commercial Driver’s License is a plus
