Job summary
Republic Services Maintenance Technician B position involves repairing and maintaining diesel and non-diesel trucks, focusing on chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, HVAC, and brakes. You will diagnose multi-system issues, perform engine work, and assist with road service as needed.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a technician position demonstrating knowledge of both gasoline and diesel-powered equipment diagnosis and repair or graduating from an accredited automotive college or technical school within the next 3 months.
- ASE Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
- Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose multi-system issues and repair vehicle components and systems.
- Perform chassis component repair and maintenance and service refuse bodies with hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Conduct light engine repair, suspension, drive train and steering maintenance, and HVAC servicing.
- Provide safe roadside service when needed to return equipment to operation.
- Identify malfunction sources using electronic diagnostic tools and complete required training.
