Sysco Foods currently seeks a skilled fleet technician for part-time work Fri through Sun, 8 hours daily. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, inspections, and reliable repair to minimize downtime across a mixed fleet.

You will diagnose issues, perform engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC repairs, and document all work in the company's systems. Experience with DOT/OSHA standards is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training and high school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 2-year school and 1 year of experience or 3 years in fleet maintenance.
• Certifications: Annual Inspector Certification, Brake Inspector Certification, ASE (Preferred), 609 HVAC Certification.

Aufgaben

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles to maximize safety and reliability.
• Perform Annual (FAI/CVI) inspections per regulations for all fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs per manufacturer specs (engines, transmissions, electrical, brakes, HVAC, etc.).
• Follow documentation procedures for work orders and use Sysco computer programs.
