Sysco Foods is seeking a skilled fleet maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of fleet vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities include annual inspections, diagnostics, and ensuring safety and reliability across the fleet.

The role requires experience with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and welding, plus the ability to use OEM diagnostic tools and Sysco software. Valid CDL and technical training are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years fleet maintenance and repair experience or 2-year school and 1 year of experience
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training

Responsabilités

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment within planned time tolerances to maximize safety, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Perform Annual inspections on all fleet vehicles in accordance with regulations
• Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections on all fleet vehicles
• Perform quality maintenance repairs to maximize safety and reliability
• Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups timely and efficiently
• Diagnose causes and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications including engines, transmissions, drive-line, electrical systems, brake systems, HVAC, and lift-gate systems
• Follow procedures and document all work on work orders
• Learn and develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs
