Sysco Iowa, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Technician Trainee to support preventive maintenance and repairs, helping reduce road downtime and improve fleet reliability.

You will learn inspections (FAI/CVI), perform maintenance under guidance, and build skills across engines, transmissions, electrical and HVAC systems. This is a full-time role with a 3rd shift (Sun-Thu), offering paid training, OT opportunities, and a robust benefits package.

Formación

• No prior experience required for entry-level technician role.
• CDL Preferred but not required to start.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems in vehicles.
• Welding and cutting (gas, electric, MIG, TIG) knowledge is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and software literacy helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Learn to perform required inspections and preventive maintenance under guidance.
• Learn to perform inspections (FAI/CVI) on fleet vehicles as per regulations.
• Perform maintenance repairs under supervision to maximize safety and reliability.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair to manufacturer specifications.
• Document all work on work orders accurately.
• Develop proficiency in Sysco computer programs.
