FedEx Freight is seeking a Mechanic/Technician to maintain and repair our diesel fleet, including tractors, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and safe operation.

You will document work, perform safety inspections, and may assist with body work. ASE certifications and a CDL are preferred, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement and tool allowances.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year vehicle maintenance experience or completion of FedEx Apprentice Program.
• One or more Medium/Heavy Truck ASE Certifications and Class A CDL preferred.
• Must possess necessary tools to perform tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Performs preventive and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Performs basic diagnostics to identify trouble sources and adjusts equipment for safe operation.
• Works with other technicians in performing maintenance and repairs.
• Documents all maintenance performed, completes reports in writing and electronically.
• Performs safety inspections and documents the work.
• Performs paint and body work on vehicles as required.
• Complies with laws, regulations, and company policies.
