Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Repair Technician at the Sandusky Hauling Campus in Vickery, OH. You will perform inspections, diagnoses, and repairs to ensure trucks are safe and operational.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read repair manuals, and strong safety awareness. Shift is 4pm–4am, Monday through Friday, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience reading repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Knowledge of truck components and systems preferred.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles per schedules and DVIRs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Inspect and overhaul vehicle systems and perform routine servicing.
• Maintain records of time, parts usage, and maintenance orders.
