Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Repair Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet to ensure safe, reliable operation. You will perform repairs per schedules and driver vehicle inspection reports, replacing components and fluids as needed.

The role requires understanding of heavy truck systems, diesel engines, and the ability to work with repair manuals and wiring diagrams. Strong safety and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience using repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics necessary to troubleshoot or repair vehicle or component failure.
• In-depth knowledge of truck components and systems preferred.
• Experience repairing and performing maintenance on heavy trucks and diesel engines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles per maintenance schedules and DVIRs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Replace components, check fluids, and inspect safety systems on vehicles.
