Job summary

Sysco Jackson, LLC is seeking a Diesel Fleet Mechanic Technician III to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and complex repairs on a wide range of fleet vehicles. You will diagnose engine, transmission, electrical, and refrigeration systems to ensure safety and reliability.

The role offers a 3rd shift option, a boot and tool allowance, and opportunities for growth within a stable, nationwide company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training recommended.
• 2-year technical school plus 4 years experience OR 5 years fleet maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Perform FAI/CVI inspections on all fleet vehicles per regulations.
• Mentor Fleet Technician I and II to develop greater responsibilities.
• Follow work orders and document all repairs.
