Zusammenfassung

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to diagnose multi-system issues and perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment. You will service chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, along with HVAC and drive train components.

Road service may be required to keep our fleet on the road. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to handle several tasks with supervision from a Lead Technician or Maintenance Manager.

Qualifikationen

• Diagnose multi-system issues across gasoline and diesel equipment.
• Understand work order labor time standards.
• Experience maintaining Class 1-8 trucks or similar equipment; may include aircraft/ships.
• ASE certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required.
• 3–5 years in a technician role or completion of a relevant automotive program.
• Valid Driver’s License is required or preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintains knowledge and skills for vehicle components and systems; performs preventive and repair maintenance.
• Repairs chassis components and refuse bodies including control, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and air/brake systems.
• Performs light engine, suspension, drivetrain, and HVAC work; conducts welding and fabrication as needed.
• Provides safe road service to ensure equipment is returned to operation.
