Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, control systems, hydraulic and air brake systems, engines, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain, and steering. The role involves on-site and mobile service, with opportunities for training in new technologies and career growth.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• Experience with light/medium/heavy-duty trucks or similar equipment.
• Possess a basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on trucks and equipment on-site and on the road.
• Repair chassis, refuse bodies, braking, engine, suspension, HVAC and electrical systems.
• Provide safe road service when needed and ensure equipment returns to operation.
• Complete required company training programs and adhere to safety standards.
