SteveRecruiter, LLC is recruiting for a Die Cast Changeover Specialist on the 2nd shift in Cedarburg, WI. This direct-hire role offers up to $41/hour, a strong benefits package, and performance bonuses in a high‑volume die casting environment.

The ideal candidate will lead die changes, set process parameters, and troubleshoot hydraulics/pneumatics with safety and efficiency at the forefront. 2nd shift schedule ensures stable evenings and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer.
• Hands-on setup or changeover experience in high‑pressure aluminum die casting or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting in hydraulics, pneumatics, and related systems.
• Ability to safely operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment.
• Resident within 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete die changes and tooling setups on high‑pressure aluminum die casting machines.
• Set machine process parameters including temperatures, hydraulic pressures, shot speeds, and cycle timing.
• Rig, align, and install dies and tooling using cranes and forklifts.
• Troubleshoot setup, machine, and casting defects to optimize cycles and reduce scrap.
• Verify hydraulic, pneumatic, cooling, and spray systems before production sign-off.
• Coordinate with Quality for first-piece inspection.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures during setups and teardowns.
