Qualifications

• Demonstrated career stability with 2+ years at each previous employer.
• Hands-on setup/changeover experience in high-pressure aluminum die casting or heavy manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills; reads complex setup sheets.
• Safely operates cranes and forklifts; understands rigging and alignment procedures.
• Residence within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete die changes and tooling setups for high‑pressure aluminum die casting lines.
• Set melt temps, hydraulic pressures, shot speeds, and cycle timing precisely.
• Rig, align, and install dies, trim tools, and cooling/ lubrication lines safely.
• Diagnose setup or production defects and optimize cycles to reduce scrap.
• Inspect hydraulic, pneumatic, cooling, and spray systems prior to production start.
• Coordinate first-piece inspections with Quality and Production teams.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and crane safety protocols during all operations.
