Job summary

The Recruiting Hive in Cedarburg, WI is hiring a Die Cast Changeover Specialist for the 2nd shift. This direct-hire role focuses on die changes, setting machine parameters, rigging tooling, and ensuring smooth operation of high-pressure aluminum die casting equipment.

You will work in a large, ISO-certified facility with strong tenure and top-tier OEM partnerships. Compensation includes up to $41/hr plus performance bonuses, a 401(k) match, and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years at each prior employer.
• Hands-on die cast setup or heavy machinery changeover.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting in hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read complex process setup sheets.
• Experience operating cranes and forklifts.
• Must reside within 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.
• US work authorization; no sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete die changes and tooling setups.
• Set and adjust process parameters and cycle timing.
• Rig, align and install dies and associated tooling.
• Troubleshoot setup, machine, or casting defects.
• Inspect hydraulic, pneumatic, water/cooling and spray systems.
• Coordinate first-piece inspections with Quality/Production.
• Enforce safety standards including LOTO and crane safety.
