A premier die casting manufacturer in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a Die Cast Changeover Specialist on the 2nd shift. You will lead complete die changes, set precise process parameters, and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems on high‑pressure aluminum die casting equipment.

Competenze

Stability: minimum 2+ years at each prior employer.
Hands-on setup/changeover in high-pressure aluminum die casting or heavy manufacturing.
Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.

Mansioni

Execute complete die changes and tooling setups for high-pressure aluminum die casting machines and automation equipment.
Set and fine-tune process parameters: melt temperatures, hydraulic pressures, shot speeds, cycle timing.
Safely rig and install dies, trim tools, shot-end components, plunger systems, and cooling/lubrication lines.
Diagnose setup/machine defects and optimize cycle times to reduce scrap.
Verify system functionality: hydraulics, pneumatics, cooling, and automated systems pre-production sign-off.
Coordinate with Quality for first-piece inspection approvals.
Follow Lockout/Tagout and crane safety protocols during all setups and teardowns.
