Job summary

Eden Capital Careers in Cedarburg, WI, seeks a Die Cast Changeover Specialist for 2nd shift at a premier aluminum die casting facility. You will lead die changes, set machine parameters, and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems to maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer.
• Hands-on die cast setup or heavy machinery changeover experience in aluminum die casting.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI and have US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete die changes and tooling setups for high-pressure aluminum die casting machines and auxiliary automation equipment.
• Set machine parameters including temperatures, pressures, speeds, and cycle timing.
• Rig, align, and install dies, trim tools, shot-end components, and cooling/lubrication lines.
• Troubleshoot startup and production defects to optimize cycle times and reduce scrap.
• Inspect hydraulic, pneumatic, water/cooling, and spray/ladle systems prior to production sign-off.
• Coordinate with Quality for first-piece inspections according to setup sheets.
• Adhere to LOTO, crane safety, and safe molten metal handling procedures.
