Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care’s Orland Park clinic seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP 1). This role provides and coordinates clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation during dialysis sessions.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, you will educate patients and families, document in the medical record, administer medications per protocol, and collaborate with RNs,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS certification.
• Must meet the state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinical care for assigned patients during hemodialysis.
• Document ongoing patient data and updates in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment options.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effectiveness.
• Initiate or assist with emergency response measures.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to update care plans.
