Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care NW Detroit Clinic is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP 1). The RN will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, with on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current state licensure.
• Current CPR BLS Certification.
• RN with less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience; chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients on hemodialysis.
• Document data collection and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options.
• Assist with medications and emergency response when needed.
