Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Chicago, IL is hiring an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP program. This role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating dialysis care for a defined patient group, with opportunities to mentor staff and participate in quality improvement.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, you will receive on-the-job training, pursue CAP requirements to advance, and work a rotating schedule in the clinic.

Qualifications

• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.
• Current RN license and BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for dialysis patients.
• Document data and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide patient education and coordinate with care team.
• Direct and supervise patient care staff when applicable.
