Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will provide and coordinate nephrology care during hemodialysis, document patient data, and educate patients and families as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The role supports progression through the Clinical Advancement Program, with supervision from experienced staff and opportunities to enhance quality and safety in patient care.

Qualifications

• RN with baseline nursing practice.
• Familiar with hemodialysis patient care and documentation.
• CPR/BLS certification current and verifiable.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients during hemodialysis.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; document in medical record.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and transplant options.
• Administer medications per policy and protocol; monitor effectiveness.
• Lead and collaborate with the team to ensure safe dialysis delivery and quality outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies and provide staff training as assigned.
