Job summary

U.S. Renal Care in Defiance, Ohio is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our dialysis team. You will work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable dialysis treatment under the supervision of an RN or Charge Nurse.

Responsibilities include preparing machines, monitoring treatment, collecting samples, and ensuring safety and quality. A high school diploma and a desire to work in healthcare are required; related experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comfortable dialysis treatment and patient care under supervision of RN or Charge Nurse.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis, clean and disinfect after treatment, and perform safety checks with logs.
• Maintain safety measures and follow company policies and state/federal regulations; participate in meetings and continuing education.
