Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join a cross-functional team providing care and delegated treatment activities for patients with renal failure. You will work under the supervision of an RN or CN and support dialysis procedures, patient monitoring, and sample collection as ordered.

The role requires a high school diploma, a desire to work in healthcare, and may benefit from prior dialysis or CNA experience. CPR training and state requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during dialysis treatment.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis treatments and log quality checks.
• Clean and disinfect machines after treatment and perform safety checks.
• Follow policies/regulations and participate in staff meetings and training.
