Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join a cross-functional team providing dialysis care under RN supervision. You’ll gather vitals, initiate and monitor treatments, and collect samples per orders. You’ll also prepare machines, disinfect equipment, and log safety checks while following all protocols.

The role emphasizes quality care, adherence to safety standards, and active participation in staff meetings and ongoing education within a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Ability to safely mix and prepare chemical solutions with safety protocols.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Responsibilities

• Patient care: take vitals, initiate and monitor dialysis, and collect samples per physician orders.
• Safety & Quality: prep, disinfect, perform safety checks and document results.
• Partnership: work with an interdisciplinary team under a Charge Nurse and follow policies.
