Job summary

Outset Medical, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to install, maintain and repair the Tablo Dialysis System at customer facilities and patients’ homes.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance. The role requires extensive travel across the United States, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication with clinical staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Experience reading electronic and fluidics schematics/diagrams.
• Excellent communication with customers and patients.
• Ability to travel extensively in the United States, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair Tablo Dialysis Systems at customer facilities or patients' homes.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance including calibrations and hardware/software upgrades.
• Serve as a technical SME on the Tablo product for internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver first and second level technical support, including after-hours coverage.
• Document all service activities and maintain parts inventory in ERP systems.
• Prepare field service and expense reports per standards; support marketing and sales events.
• Provide feedback to R&D on performance and customer input.
• Travel as required to service sites across the United States.
