Job summary

DiaSorin seeks a Diagnostics Specialist to service customers with preventative maintenance, retrofit installation, troubleshooting and repair with minimal support. You will work within a global diagnostic portfolio, following GMP and safety procedures.

The role emphasizes hands-on field service, timely reporting, and adherence to regulatory requirements, with opportunities for growth in a diverse, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• AA Degree in Laboratory Technician, Electronics, Engineering Technician or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years as Biomedical Equipment, Electronics or Field Service Technician.
• Ability to do preventative maintenance and troubleshooting per manufacturer manuals.
• Knowledge of cGMP and Good Laboratory Practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and support to customers for instrument maintenance, troubleshooting and repair with minimal assistance.
• Receive information from Manager, Technical Service and Logistics Teams about customer instrumentation.
• Maintain customer, applications, and sales communications.
• Assist with instrument installations.
• Resolve instrument problems by troubleshooting the specific problem (hardware or software).
• Perform field service reports according to process.
• Follow regulatory procedures to meet OSHA, EPA, NRC, and FDA requirements.
