PerkinElmer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment. You will train customers, troubleshoot, and act as the liaison for administrative and technical matters in customer sites.

The role involves travel up to 50% and requires strong communication, safety awareness, and teamwork to meet service standards and KPIs while advancing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BA/AS/HS + years of direct repair experience on laboratory equipment.
• Detailed knowledge of analytical equipment and lab environment preferred.
• Vendor certification on relevant equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and maintain safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, maintenance, validations, and repairs per service standards.
• Engage with customers to understand workflows and tailor service offerings.
• Identify revenue opportunities through billable work, consumables, and leads.
• Maintain assets, tools, test equipment, and service parts inventory.
• Report improvements via quality notifications.
• Complete training and administrative tasks, including time reporting.
