Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, repair, and validate laboratory instruments, ensuring minimal downtime across the New England region. The role reports to the Field Service Manager and covers a remote-friendly territory with a primary location in Marlborough, MA.

The candidate should travel 100% within the assigned region, lift up to 50 lbs, and provide on-site technical support to clinical and research labs, with strong emphasis on accuracy

Qualifications

Associate degree in technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or equivalent military experience.
1+ years diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
Experience managing a dynamic service schedule and completing service documentation, PMs, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, install, validate, perform preventive maintenance, modify and repair Beckman Coulter equipment; provide excellent customer service.
Maintain accurate customer service logs, order parts, and use systems for service planning.
Communicate with internal and external customers and assist with training newer Field Service Engineers.
