Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to travel within the assigned territory for on-site repair and installation of Roche products, delivering technical service to laboratory customers in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves diagnosing mechanical, hardware, software and system failures, documenting activities, and contributing to quality improvements while maximizing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent training.
• 5 years progressive experience repairing or servicing hardware/software.
• Bachelor's degree with 1–2 years of related experience acceptable.
• Travel, including overnight stays, is required and certification per policy is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Travel and perform on-site repair and installation for Roche products.
• Provide technical support to laboratory customers in the territory.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
• Document activities and contribute to quality improvements; maximize customer satisfaction.
