Job summary

Snap-on Diagnostics is seeking a results-driven field sales representative to demonstrate, train and sell advanced diagnostic equipment to our Franchisees and customers in the Detroit area. You will leverage automotive diagnostics knowledge, build relationships and close orders while traveling to client sites.

Candidates should be self-motivated, highly proficient with PC tools, and able to work within a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive diagnostics and sales
• Ability to travel for customer visits and franchisee coaching
• Proficient with PC tools and internet applications
• Team player with good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Direct sale of Diagnostic products to shop owners
• Perform business evaluation/coaching rides with Franchisees
• Teach product and sales skills to Franchisees
• Secure orders for additional Diagnostics products
• Demonstrate products to customers
• Perform product training to customers
• Attend field meetings to present promotions
• Staff and support trade-shows, and attend sales meetings as required
• Perform customer education/sales seminars
• Maintain assigned inventory levels
