Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray imaging and ensure high-quality diagnostic images. You will prepare records, explain procedures to patients, and maintain radiology equipment while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. 0–3 years of radiography experience is preferred, with healthcare facility experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Experience working in a Health Care Facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
