Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray imaging under the Radiologist's direction. You will produce high-quality radiographs, prepare patient records, ensure safety, comfort, and imaging accuracy, and coordinate with the care team.

Required: graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ State RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS; 0–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides imaging processes in accordance with guidelines.
• Operates imaging equipment, setup, troubleshooting, and care/sanitization.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses questions.
• Maintains equipment, ensures safety, and monitors patient comfort.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
