Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures and ensure high-quality radiographs for diagnostic purposes. The role requires graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities include patient history collection, explaining procedures, equipment upkeep, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School

NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license

ARRT Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
