Job summary

Atlantic Health in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray imaging under the Radiologist’s direction. You will generate high-quality radiographs to aid in diagnosis and treatment while maintaining thorough patient records.

You will operate and troubleshoot a range of imaging systems, ensure safety and comfort, obtain patient history, explain procedures, and coordinate daily imaging schedules in compliance with guidelines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting and sanitization.
• Follows state, federal and professional guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures per guidelines and radiologist directions.
• Operate, troubleshoot and sanitize imaging equipment; ensure patient safety.
• Obtain patient history, explain procedures and address questions.
• Maintain equipment; monitor safety and patient comfort.
• Coordinate daily imaging procedures and track revisions as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
