Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray exams and generate high-quality images under the direction of the Radiologist. You will prepare and maintain patient records and ensure safety and sanitation of equipment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiography program and valid NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. Experience in a health care facility is preferred; 0–3 years of radiography experience is

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• Experience in a Health Care Facility, Hospital System or relevant area preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging and treatment processes in accordance with guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and care.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses questions.
• Maintains equipment, ensures safety, and ensures patient comfort.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
