Atlantic Health in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform x-ray exams and generate high-quality diagnostic images under the Radiologist's supervision. You will prepare patients, explain procedures, operate and maintain imaging equipment, and ensure safety and comfort throughout all imaging sessions while documenting results and keeping accurate records.

Ideal candidates have a degree from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
