Job summary

Atlantic Health System in Morristown, NJ, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures and ensure high-quality imaging for patient care. The role includes preparing records, coordinating imaging schedules, and maintaining equipment within safety standards.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited radiography program with an NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
