Job summary
Atlantic Health in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic imaging under the direction of a Radiologist. You will generate high-quality images to aid diagnosis and treatment, and you will prepare and maintain patient records and files with accuracy.
Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited radiography program with NJ RT licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
- 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer.
- NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Performs and provides imaging and treatment processes per guidelines.
- Operates and maintains imaging equipment with proper care and sanitization.
- Obtains patient history, explains procedures, addresses questions.
- Ensures safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
- Coordinates daily imaging procedures and monitors for revisions.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
